Pies and coffee were delicious. Cashier was also super friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to go to on a hot day for a quick snack and a cold brew!

Peasant Pies is an easily overlooked gem in SF; they serve up delicious handpies, heated to order to a perfectly toasty warm on the go meal, or served in adorable baskets to eat in. They also serve coffees, pastries, sweet fruit tarts, salads, and a plethora of chilled drinks in the fridges. But the star is definitely the handpies, of which there are some standard breakfasty ones with egg, and other savories pies, with a rotating seasonal choice. Some of my personal favorites are the spinach feta and cheese, zucchini and mushroom, ham egg and cheese pies. The chicken pie is also good, though a little dry, and I found the beef & potato pie to be a little too salty. The baby clam and tomato pie is their signature, but didn't have much clam and somehow tasted more like a calzone. Definitely recommend peasant pies if you're looking for a quick small meal!

My sister ordered a bunch for breakfast/lunch time. We had the chicken, beef, spinach and cheese, curry, and another one that I forgot. I liked the beef one the best, reminded me of a empanada. There were plenty of meat stuffed in the little thing. Throw a little hot sauce on it too!

The restaurant sign looked familiar to me and once inside, I realized I had those savory and sweet pies before many years ago; like 20 years ago but at a different location. The savory and sweet pies still taste the same. In the past, I always ordered one savory pie and one sweet pie because I was still hungry after eating a single pie. For me, it's more like a snack or super light meal. It was hard to find any clams in the seafood pie. I ordered the combo meal and a savory pie. The soup was creamy and tasted like a smoothie. All in all, the meal was ok.
